About Our School
Gooloogong Public School is situated 40km NW of Cowra via the Lachlan Valley Way. Our location is central to the surrounding towns of Cowra, Canowindra, Forbes & Grenfell. Established in 1869, our school serves our local village and the surrounding districts.
We aim to provide a caring and exciting learning environment, catering for the unique needs of all students.
Our spacious school grounds offer learning through creative play with our playground equipment, bike track, scooters, sandpit, mud kitchen and eye catching murals.
Our productive vegetable garden provides students with hands on learning opportunities through weekly lessons and fresh in-season produce for fruit breaks.
We have created a "Yarning Circle" for use with many different activities. This area was crafted from the school's original foundation stones and provides a meeting place for gathering with community or learning outside.
"We love our school for its supportive community and commitment to every student’s success. Our child feels safe and inspired every day.” — a parent of Gooloogong Public School
